I'm a really good girl so I went all the way to IMM Daiso to buy paper holders for my school notes.
In case you didn't know, I live in the east.. The MRT ride took about an hour? See, I'm so hardworking ^^
Not to mention I wore a pair of high heels that are a few inches and had to carry all those heavy stuffs and take the MRT.
I have finally decided that leaving my notes in a mess ain't going to motivate me to study. So, I'm REALLY GOING TO ORGANISE MY STUFF LATER!! QUICKLY SALUTE ME!!!
(Those who know me well enough/came to my house before will know how messy I am =x)
I'm starving, bitten by mosquitoes, and lonely. =( When will dear wake up?!?! I want to have my dinner with him..!! Though I haven't decided what to eat. x.x
Btw, here are a few recommendations if you don't know what to eat on a date.. And you're as poor as me
Changing Appetites (Marina Square)
I love the grilled chicken, on some days that is. Sometimes its a tad too raw (I hate the bloody taste of meat-Dont get me started on beef. YUCK) but most of the time its nice. Maybe I just don't know how to appreciate those =P The country fried chicken has a very unique taste, different from those chicken cutlets found at Jack's Place or food courts. About $8.10 for student meal, includes soup of the day and a glass of soft drink. (calculated those gst and service charge fees already) There's lunch sets too for non-students, but its $8.50 I think, without including service charge and GST. (There's icecream for this though =PP)
Anyway, don't try the dory fish and spaghetti thingy. The fish is nice but the spaghetti cheesy sauce is YUCK. Extremely salty =O
Fisherios (Bugis Junction)
$6.90 for soup of the day, fish and chips, and a drink. But when I order their grilled fish they give me free soup and drink too =P I think the fish&chips is fried to near perfection (for me, that is) I'm a picky eater so you could trust me on that =P Their grilled fish is yummmyyyyyyyyyy.
Astons (Suntec City, Cineleisure)

$6.50 for any chicken sets with 2 sides. Chicken is quite nice, but what brings me back to their restaurant is their Onion Rings & Mashed Potatoes =DD But be prepared for a long waiting time. (If you're just bringing one friend, most of the time they'll let you cut the queue xD - cause tables for 2 are often available there) Don't go to the one at Singpost Foodcourt if you're looking for quality though, its the same price, long waiting time too, but the food isn't as great. I've only tried the outlet at Suntec City, Cineleisure I don't know if its nice =P
(Betcha thinking: EH, restaurant in a foodcourt?!?! Don't ask me. Beats me too)
And DON'T TRY Phin's Grill's (At TM) spaghetti. I feel like I'm chewing on telephone cords when I eat those. I'm serious. And it costs nearly twice the price of those from other restaurants that I like. The fish and chips are nice but price and taste-wise, Fisherios beats it hands down. =/ The food there ain't worth its price, in my opinion. =/
AND I'VE CAUGHT THE WALKING STITCH!!!!!!! =DDD
The one that walks in a circle sleepily at Marina Square. Spent $40 on catching it though, =/. Oh well, my bf likes it ^^ (I see you shaking your head disapprovingly- WHAT LA?!)
Oh and I've been promoted to JC2! Dear also =DDD However our class is gonna be disbanded.. Most likely we wouldn't been in the same class. (We take different subj combi) *sob* T.T

A few recommendations on some things I loveeeeeeee x3
Note: If you're not female/a ti-ko-pek/some cheek-o-bu like me who likes to bio pretty girls, I advise you not to continue. It's gonna be b-o-r-i-n-g! That leaves only the category of gays anyway. I'm not discriminating against gays though!
1) Japanese Magazines!
If you don't know this community already, you can go check it out, and download any mags you want for free! Click on the link above :D
Loads of free jap magazine scans there! Their updates are really very up-to-date (sounds like a pun). I already have the October Issue of Popteen when its still Septemeber. Hehee =X

My favourite is Popteen, featuring Gyaru fashion! There's makeup and hair tutorials, although they're in japanese, the pictures may be of some help. Moreover, most of the popular brands used on the models can be found in SG! I'm so going to get the Canmake Blush in P20 xD They have really pretty models too.. =x To prove my point, here are a few pages from the October issue featuring my fav model :DDDDDDDDDDDDD

2) Taiwanese Magazines
They have Kevin's Beauty Book up for downloads and a few other magazines.. There's some site recommendations on it too. Take a look if you can't stand reading mags without reading the words.
3) Corycosmetics
Its an unlisted brand of mineral makeup that does not use pore clogging ingredients, mica, unlike other drugstore brands. Its original foundation is only made up of 2 ingredients. Consider trying their samples if you have sensitive skin. Their coverage is wonderful and the particles are very concentrated.
However I still had rashes after putting it on for a few hours. I don't think its the cosmetic's fault though, I already had abit of rash when I applied moisturizer. Lolll =S
The fact that its samples are only about 70cents SGD, and that each foundation pack can be used more than 10 times for me, and the eyeshadow sample can be used for like FOREVER, its really worth a try. A little goes a long way - a few grains is enough to cover the entire face. SERIOUS!

4) Daiso
Call me cheapskate, but I really adore their blushers. The one I'm using is in a transparent case, a nice pink colour that comes with a free brush. Its only available at the vivo branch, plaza sing one doesn't have that one. IMM one I don't know, never gone there before. Anyway, I don't use their free brush, kinda lousy lol. Going to look for the one xiaxue is using at IMM branch! =x
5) Circle Lenses
Many have commented that I look much uglier without contact lenses on. Thanks for your honesty -__- (Yes I'm wearing lenses in most of the pics posted up here) I used to buy from fallineyes.blogspot.com, one pair from those I bought from her is really comfy, but the rest gave me sore eyes. I've been using Geo in sec 3 too.. Currently own about 10 pairs of contact lenses, but sadly, none is comfortable enough for me. Those from optical shops, in my opinion, are even more uncomfortable than those bought on blogshops. But now there's a new law against selling on blogshops.. Sobs...
Anyway, look out for 2 blogshops that are selling dueba lenses and offer 15.5mm ones. Although I have nothing against those selling contact lenses still, their origin of supplies is highly questionable. Their information given on their webs are exactly the same, so my guess is that they are getting supplies from one another or from the same supplier. They claim that their dueba lenses are 14.5mm in diameter, whereas every other website says its 14mm for the same series. And they have this 15.5mm lenses which cannot be found on any other website. When asked about authenticity, one of them sent me two certificates, both showing "G&G Co." instead of "Dueba". Those are two different brands! The other said that she "got them from the website you(I) forwarded to me(her) earlier" which is duebacon, published on newspapers that its a scamming company or something D: After I've told her that, she said she meant that she took the pictures instead, not the supplies. I can't believe that someone who's selling dueba lenses doesn't even know such a big incident! They are really not somebody you wanna order from, unless you wanna risk getting an eye infection.
Not going to post up their links as I don't have concrete evidence that their lenses are fake lenses..

Lynn and I went over to orchard to walk around.. We didn't do much though, sat at kino, read a few magazines, walked around a few malls.. I only bought one bracelet the entire day!! SALUTE ME!! Big accomplishment xD Must get rid of the "everytime-i-go-out-with-lynn-i-spend-$$$" habit.. Cause she's a spendthrift too lol and when two spendthrifts hang out together, disasters happen.. Disasters as in fire burning holes in our pockets :x

It will probably launch here in SG around Dec =( Have to pay a hefty price for these pretty phones though, converted from Korea's currency its around $550 SGD =(( I guess I would have to settle for the Ice cream phone 1st version for now =(

WARNING: You may not want to read this- this is not the usual me. {Or perhaps it is; its just that the "blogging me" doesn't type this kind of entries anymore.}
I chanced upon this site www.laddertheory.com today. You may want to check it out, but if you're the type of people who get convinced easily, I recommend otherwise.
To sum it up, the site explains why sometimes women just want to be friends and men- well, they just want sex. Sounded pretty interesting to me, although I didn't really want to know if men just want sex. What would happen to love and happy families then? Are they all fake?
I, however, let curiosity get the better out of me.
I was skeptical when I first entered the site. How could a LADDER explain that?
The pie charts made me snort. So much stereotyping - how could they generalize rating systems of women and men (when they first meet) like that?
Women
-50% money & power
-40% attraction
-10% things they say they care about but actually doesn't (eg. humor, kindness)
Men
-60% Looks
-30% Estimated chance she'll put out quickly
-10% Others
HOW WOULD THAT BE TRUE?! At least not for me. The 50% money & power part. Perhaps 80% attraction at first sight though haha.

Shockingly, as I further read on, I saw hints of truth in the ladder theory. Its really about how people would grade others, and how one would "throw away" a gf/bf for one higher on the ladder.
It may not be the exact case, but I myself have experienced similar events countless times.
How one of my precious friend left me for the cooler crowd.
How another friend I took dear to left me for others who supported her in her decision more.
How a friend left me for other friends who had more time to spend with her.
How my ex left me for a better girl.
Perhaps the grading criteria is different for everybody, whether it is "being hip", having more time to spend with, looks, kindness etc.
I cannot and will not blame them, for I have committed this myself.
Is this a definite part of human nature then? If it is so, are there ever true friends, is there ever true love?
For one who have grown up in a broken family, its so hard, just so hard to believe that true love exists.
An acquaintance has told me before (I wouldn't even call him a friend, he sounds so selfish to me) that money and power is everything. They can buy you anything in the world. When asked "what about love?", he simply replied, "It doesn't exist." He said, friends and married couples do not genuinely care for each other, they get together for the dependence, for accompaniment. I hated him. I hated how his viewpoints made me see the world in a different light. Whether or not this is true, I knew it was to a certain extent, and I didn't want to admit it. (That, plus he's a total sucker.)
Further proof to the ladder theory?
I had guy friends whom I regarded as really good buddies. I thought they would always be there in times of need. But after I get a bf? They just go missing in action.
I suppose that means that if I was no longer single and available, they no longer cared about me.
(which proved to be true; after a breakup they would appear again and ask me out)
I desperately want to shout,"STUPID GUYS! GUYS ARE SO BLOODY IDIOTIC!"
Even if its "in their nature".
All I can do is, hope for exceptions, for miracles. After all, stereotyping is detrimental most of the time. Being so unlucky for the past years, perhaps I would have better luck in my coming years? Pretty please god =x

The H1N1 has such great timing - just when I aimed to stop skipping school and be attentive in lessons.
Stop being skeptical. I DID TRY!! Even when I had a pretty bad cough I still went to school anyway. Aren't you proud of me?!?! =x
Anyway, the doctor says its no biggie its just slightly more dangerous than the average flu. Point taken especially when he didn't even wear a mask and reached his hand out to me without wearing gloves.
Either that, or the clinic sucks in their precautionary measures. The entire clinic had people coughing but none of the nurses wore gloves or masks. I certainly hope its the former.
Hope I'd get well soon! Sleeping all day long is so boring. Though I used to do that all the time voluntarily. But I must work hard and NOT retain!! Scraped through O's without putting in any effort, I'm not going to waste another two years of my life for a piece of paper again.

Didn't realise that there was this whooping 2 months gap in between my previous two posts o_O To tell you the truth, half an hour ago when I was about to type my blog url into the address bar, I stoned for a minute before I could recall the URL =x OOPS, seems like I've been neglecting my blog for quite some time. Sorry bloggie darling & viewers (if there is any at all)! =/

Quite alot of things happened in this two months. I was actually about to, um, withdraw from JC, cause I felt it wasn't right for me. I knew what I wanted to study, and the better choice was polytechnic instead of university. But I still went ahead to JC, thinking, "oh I shouldn't waste my results". (Though it wasn't much of a good result x.x)
But I don't like changes, so I'm giving it a shot at surviving in JC. I told myself to catch up on all the work, from skipping lectures, poning school (yes again, I'm hopeless), stoning/sleeping in lessons in this June holidays. Damn, and all I studied was one chapter of H1 maths, Normal Distribution. In three days are my SAs and I'm still here blogging!
This month I really hadn't been doing ANYTHING constructive, busy doing my blogshop. It's a waste of time actually. What I'm earning from it for the weeks and hours can be easily earned from working for a mere 4 days.
So well, I'm supposed to study later, so pray that I really will! Otherwise, screwed up tests results + screwing up SAs too = a minimal chance of promotion = a LARGE chance of being retained. ARGH!!!
Okay lah, I did some other constructive things this holidays afterall. {I am so random}
patoh with dickson. (WHAT! It IS constructive okay! To OUR relationship! LOL) IDK why the picture so small leh I think I accidentally changed the picture size on my phone..
sew/make random cute stuffs. I don't know why is this constructive actually.. To um, being virtuous? LOL
Shopping. My cute bunny!! Okay so it's totally unconstructive. BUT ITS SO CUTE!! ITS SO CUTE!!! AHHHH~~~!!
Oh and I've managed to spoil another handphone. (.....) I'm now using my aunt's china phone, so called 8Mega Pix (but look at the pictures' quality - or lack of quality actually - above), but HEY its touch screen!! It gave me the surname "li" in chinese when dickson drew a RAWR face! LOL..
And it has TELEVISION FUNCTION. Can watch CHNL 8. OWN YOUR BACKSIDE!! =X (need good reception though)
But I still want my pink icecream phone T^T.
